Ever felt that you were isolated in your role with ever increasing responsibility? No one to talk to who understands your issues and questions? Need to learn from others and their experiences?
Our forums are designed to give you those links, by providing opportunities for people in the network to meet up, share with each other and improve practice. To help ensure that topics are relevant, each forum has a small core group drawn from the community to plan the way the forums works and the topics discussed.
Each forum has its own distinctive style and way of working. Some meet three times a year for an afternoon, others less frequently, while others meet residentially in a more conference style setting. Some concentrate on training and bringing in external facilitators, others focus on developing common guidelines for good practice.
So whatever your role is in a mission agency or church hopefully there is something for you. There are over 20 groups to choose from, either focusing on a particular job role, region of the world or ministry type.
All forums are open to people from member agencies and churches. Many meetings are free to members or have a nominal charge to cover costs. We also welcome non-members at meetings by invitation for a small charge (approximately an extra £20 for day meetings and £60 for residential, unless otherwise specified). Meeting dates and sign up details are listed under each forum.
