Bethany Children's Trust, The

The Bethany Children's Trust (BCT) mobilises Christians to respond to the needs of children at risk. We currently partner with projects in five African countries that work with orphans, street children, those affected by poverty, war, disability and HIV and AIDS. BCT partners with emerging, Christian community-based projects, and helps them to fulfill their particular vision for the transformation of children’s lives.

We help projects to address children’s needs within the context of family and community life, believing this is the most appropriate and sustainable approach, and partner with projects showing the desire and potential to multiply across a region or country, thus increasing impact. BCT assists the effective development of these projects through guidance in project management and development, training in childcare and through prayer and financial support. We have also trained church leaders and Christian workers in 5 countries in HIV and AIDS awareness, care, prevention and orphan care.
