The core of our outreach is still person to person, heart to heart. Chosen People Ministries continues to reach the growing and changing Jewish communities around the world. Started by Rabbi Leopold Cohn in 1894 the ministry has grown until now we have branches in over a dozen different countries, and are reaching more people and communities all the time.

Responding to the needs in Israel - update 31 July 2006

The current war in Lebanon between Hezbollah and Israel has caused suffering, turmoil and grief in the Middle East. In Israel, a million or more Israelis, both Jews and Arabs, are displaced from their homes for fear of the constant barrage of rockets from the North. This crisis has provided a tremendous opportunity for believers in the country, where Chosen People Ministries has a number of staff members. Many people who have fled the North are without jobs. Already, some families are without funds to pay for food, rent and clothes for their children. Some congregations of Jewish believers in Yeshua (Jesus) are extending themselves to the limit at this time as they provide meals and assistance for free. Chosen People Ministries is working to provide resources to these congregations and individual believers as they help those who are in need. It is an incredible time for ministry as we stand with them and outfit them with resources and tools to share the message of Hope and Salvation.
