Banstead Baptist Church

We are a ‘mission/training’ church. As part of our vision we desire

• To make known the Gospel of Jesus
• To make disciples of Jesus Christ
• To equip Christians for ministry

We are strongly committed to these objectives not only within our church and local community but also in different cultures across the world as appropriate opportunities are opened up to us.

All within our fellowship are encouraged to be open to serve in another culture if called by the Lord to do so. We take ‘curates’ after their Bible training for three years or so in order to equip them for mission. When we send them out, they remain as a part of the church’s staff and receive support. Their weekly reports are printed in the church News to enable the Banstead congregation to support them.
