Why is networking so important?

We believe that obeying the Great Commission should be a shared experience. Going it alone can duplicate effort and waste time as folks new to mission try to reinvent the wheel. Our 20 forums bring like-minded Christians together for encouragement, to share ideas, and to bear one anothers burdens.

My church wants to become more actively involved in supporting world mission, can you help us?

We would be delighted to help! We strongly believe that mission should be at the heart of church life. We can arrange for one of our staff to visit your church at a time convenient to you to give you advice and to develop your ideas.

How can we help our overseas workers in practical ways?

Through our affinity scheme with Banner Financial Services, we have negotiated discounts for our members on their overseas travel and healthcare insurance policies. We allow staff of our member organisations who are working overseas to pay into our own bespoke EMA Pension Scheme one of only a few schemes on the market designed especially for those working abroad. Can you help us improve the way we are working?

The members of some of our forums have developed codes of best practice. For instance, our Short-Term Mission forum has produced a set of guidelines which member agencies can subscribe to. Those working for organisations supporting this code know that their employers are meeting an agreed high standard. Click here for details of current codes and best practices.

Can you recommend any books or other material to help us understand how to communicate the Gospel in todays world?
