A Passion for Mission - 1 July 2008

Mission at the heart of the church, the church at the heart of mission

Lindsay BrownThe third ‘A Passion for Mission’ will take place on Tuesday 1 July 2008 and follow the same format as last year. In the afternoon, A Rocha will be leading us as we look at the challenges of ecology and the environment facing the mission community. How can we, do we, should we take the issue seriously? Does it impinge on our strategies and project planning? This session follows the Global Connections AGM.

In the evening we are delighted to welcome Lindsay Brown as our speaker, who was with IFES and now heads up Lausanne internationally. He will be speaking on 'Shining Like Stars - the power of the gospel in the world's universities'. This evening session is open to everyone and would be ideal for those considering how God may use them, now and in the future.
