WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT? - using business and professional skills and experience, to assist in the execution of Jesus’ Great Commission quoted in Matt 28 v 20 “……to go into all the world and make disciples”.
Work can be part of our spiritual existence and relationship with God. It is therefore a place where we can serve Him and assist in the extension of the Kingdom.
Business and professional people work with a wide range of income-generating and management expertise which countries need, and which are therefore positively encouraged. So they can provide excellent opportunities to bring Christian values into places closed to more traditional initiatives.
In addition to tentmaking (please see separate page), terms such as 'Kingdom Business' and 'Great Commission Company' can be found in use, but there are many other models too. There also various combinations of the words 'Business' and 'Mission'. On this website 'Business & Mission' embrace them all.
The forum is dedicated to promoting the wider use of Christian business and professional expertise to aid and extend the work of mission agencies.
