A Passion for Mission 2008

A Rocha logoThe third 'A Passion for Mission' will take place on Tuesday 1 July 2008, following the same format as last year.

In the afternoon, A Rocha will be leading us as we look at the challenges of ecology and the environment facing the mission community. How can we, do we, should we take the issue seriously? Does it impinge on our strategies and project planning?

Lindsay BrownThis session will be followed by the Global Connections AGM.

In the evening we are delighted to welcome Lindsay Brown, who was with IFES and now heads up the Lausanne Movement internationally, as our speaker. Lindsay will be speaking on 'The power of the gospel in the world's universities'. This evening session is open to everyone and would be ideal for younger people considering how God may use them, now and in the future.

Why not bring some friends or young people from your church to this event? To book your place for either or both parts of this special day, visit the 'A Passion for Mission 2008' event page.

Martin's monthly

Martin Lee

Sadly Zimbabwe seems to have remained centre stage in much of the media for many weeks. The future of the country still seems to be on the edge, but I know we all pray that somehow a solution might be found speedily...
