Helping agencies communicate more effectively

Who is it for?

Agency staff who are responsible for external communications about their work, mainly to churches and the Christian public.

What is the focus?

The forum's three main areas of focus are to:

  • Provide fellowship and networking opportunities for those involved in communication by leaflet, magazine, DVDs, websites etc
  • To discuss issues of common concern
  • To consider joint projects as appropriate

What issues have we covered recently?

Creating a corporate image; agency prayer resources; effective exhibiting; mission magazines; mission reps; relating to the secular media.

When do we meet?

The forum meets three times a year. Most meetings start at 12 noon and finish by 4 pm and are held at Whitefield House.

Who is on planning team?

The Chair is Nick Cole (OMF) - other members include Allie Schwaar (SIM), Alastair McIver (Interserve), Bob Lunt (SAMS) and Joanne Appleton (Redcliffe) and Bryan Knell (Global Connections).
