Addressing key issues affecting mission and the church in China

This forum is a partnership of agencies and others who are interested in witness to Chinese people. The main function of the Forum is to organise China Days to raise awareness of China and its people.

What is the focus?

The forum's main areas of focus are to:

  • Mobilise the British church to pray for China
  • Provide fellowship and networking opportunities for those involved in ministry in China and to the Chinese
  • Discuss issues of common concern

What issues have been covered recently?

Theological education in Beijing and Oxford; the Olympic Games 2008/2012; the growth and vision of the Chinese Church in London; reaching Chinese students in the UK; Islam in North West China..

When do we meet?

Rather than meet as a Forum, members of the Forum now primarily work together to organise China Days to help the UK church understand more about China.

Who is on the planning team?

The Chair is Andy Stevens (OMF). Other members are David Newbery (Vision for China) and Jane Showell-Rogers (Global Connections).
