Business and Mission Forum

Formerly the Business and Professionals Forum, this forum addresses key issues of business and mission

usiness and Mission ForumToday some conventional missionary routes are no longer available; agencies are looking for alternative strategies and ways of achieving their vision.

In this context, business and professional people can help enormously, through the use of their expertise and experience.

The forum is overseen by a steering group comprising the Associate Director of SIM UK, and other experienced executives.

Membership of the forum comprises a significant number of mission agency directors, business and professional men and women - and it’s growing all the time. If YOU would like to join, please email Bryan Hilton, the forum coordinator using the link at the bottom of this page.

The forum works to raise awareness of missionary opportunities open to business people and professionals and to help; individuals to find and fulfil their personal calling, and agencies to find the resources they need to exploit the new mission opportunities.

These web pages provide the focus of virtual connectivity.

How does it work?

The emphasis is on guiding those interested in this ministry to see how they could be involved, and to provide effective channels for the exchange of expertise and ideas between new and experienced 'B&M' practitioners.

Do this by checking the Resources page, or contact Bryan Hilton, the coordinator, using the email link at the bottom of this page. He will also be pleased to answer any questions you may have.

The Steering Group of the Forum comprises: Will Elphick (Associate Director of SIM), Roger Wells (former Director of TASK), Ian Benson (Missionary Training Service), and three others.
