The Kingdom of God is a Biblical expression with numerous theological interpretations which significantly impact a person's understanding of the mission endeavour. For example, an interpretation that locates the kingdom as only a future domain tends to see mission as winning souls so that they will go to heaven. Alternatively, a focus on the kingdom as already arrived tends to lead mission practice into an emphasis on justice now. Yet if the kingdom is the 'already - not yet,' what should mission look like?
