Mission statement

Global Connections seeks to be a growing, vibrant network of UK churches and agencies, linked together for resources, learning and representation, in order to serve, resource and develop churches in their mission so that the overall vision of "mission at the heart of the church, the church at the heart of mission" can be realised.

Functions of the network

In order to fulfil its mission, the network is administered by a support office. The support office’s main functions are to:

Develop NETWORK EVENTS such as forums for members and increasingly non-members
Be a central source of HELP AND ADVICE ON VOCATIONAL MATTERS for individuals
SUPPORT member agencies (and others) through benefits, guidelines, information and representation
RESOURCE churches across the UK with mission information, advice and resources
Explore KEY MISSION ISSUES AND TRENDS, and publicise associated resources
COMMUNICATE effectively about world mission
