BIAMS
The British and Irish Association of Mission Studies
The British and Irish Association for Mission Studies (BIAMS) was formed in 1989 by a group of churches and agencies. It aims to promote the study of mission in its history, theory and practice. BIAMS also provides a forum for dialogue for enrichment and collaboration in mission. To this end BIAMS holds conferences, provides interest groups and circulates a newsletter twice a year. Their website offers a free email discussion forum which facilitates the communication of news and information that may be of interest to scholars, students and practitioners of mission.
