The different categories of members are:

• Agencies and church streams – include sending missions, funding organisations, agencies involved in relief and development as well as church groupings and denominations
• Colleges – mission training colleges, academic institutions with a mission focus, mission courses
• Churches – evangelical churches of all denominations that are passionate about mission
• Support agencies and services – providers of services to the mission community (include charities and non-charities)
